Pipeline safety -LOTOTO
On October 18, 2021, when maintenance personnel of Handan China Resources Gas Co., Ltd. were replacing valves in a pipeline well, a natural gas leak occurred, resulting in suffocation of three people. The injured were immediately found and sent to hospital for treatment. At present, the rescue has died. After the accident, the local Party Committee and government attached great importance to it and promptly set up a joint investigation team to investigate the accident and deal with the aftermath.
Limited space operation is not allowed:
Do not work without identification
It is not allowed to work without ventilation and inspection
It is not allowed to work without wearing qualified labor protection articles
Do not operate without supervision
It is forbidden to use safety equipment and emergency equipment that do not meet the provisions in operation
Do not operate without ascertaining the contact information and signal
Do not operate without checking emergency rescue equipment
It is not allowed to operate without understanding the operation plan, possible hazardous and harmful factors on the operation site, operation safety requirements, prevention and control measures and emergency handling measures.
Confined space rescue
1. Operation must be stopped immediately after the accident, and self-rescue and mutual rescue must be actively carried out. Blind rescue is strictly prohibited
2. Rescue must be carried out safely. Personnel without training or personal protective equipment are prohibited to enter the limited space for rescue
3. The person in charge of the operation site must report the accident to the unit in time and call the police if necessary
4. Warning area shall be set up during rescue, and irrelevant personnel and vehicles are strictly prohibited to enter
5. Rescuers must wear ppe correctly to carry out rescue operations
6. When rescuing in a limited space, reliable isolation measures must be taken
