1 During operation, to avoid accidental release of hazardous energy or materials stored in equipment, facilities or system areas, all isolation facilities of hazardous energy and materials should be locked out tagout. No one can work on process equipment unless it has been isolated by Lockout tagout procedure.
2 When using the safety lock, attach the “Dangerous do not operate” label. Lockout After tagout, no one is allowed to operate.
3 In some special circumstances, such as the valve or power switch of special size cannot be locked, with the consent of the person in charge of the production unit, only the label “dangerous operation prohibited” can be hung and regarded as locked.
The safety lock on the individual or collective lock box can only be lifted by the lock person himself or by another person in his or her sight. If he or she is not present, the safety lock shall be lifted in accordance with the provisions of 5.7 of this Standard.
5 In the case of collective locking, the unit that owns the device shall be responsible for locking the device. When the device needs to be unlocked after the work is completed, the shift supervisor or its agent of the unit that owns the device shall unlock the device.
