It is understood that the enterprise has also established a digital LOTO management platform, which realizes the full-process traceability of LOTO operations through intelligent means such as electronic records and video surveillance. Since the full implementation of the standardized LOTO procedure, the enterprise has not experienced any maintenance safety accidents for two consecutive years.
Similarly, a certain coal mining enterprise in Shanxi Province has incorporated the LOTO regulations into the job safety evaluation system. Employees who strictly follow the LOTO procedure will be given bonus points in performance appraisals and priority for promotion. Those who violate the rules will face penalties such as economic fines and suspension for training. At first, some employees thought LOTO was troublesome and would delay work efficiency. However, after several trainings and case warnings, everyone gradually realized that this was a “life-saving procedure”. “Now, proactively implementing LOTO has become a voluntary habit among employees,” said the coal mine safety supervisor.
